This past Saturday I attended the Pecha Kucha at the 30th anniversary celebration of NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program. I hope they post the video as an archive because I’d like to take another look at some of the presentations. I don’t know if others would agree, but I think of ITP as the New York version of the MIT Media Lab with a little bit more of an artistic rather than programming bent. One of my favorite things to do for inspiration is to attend the end of semester shows at ITP, particularly in Physical Computing. ITP is an amazing institution and I never fail to get excited whenever I visit or check out their projects.
In the realm of inspiration, over the summer I also attended the 140 Character Conference (thanks Aliza!) and the Open Video Conference (thanks Sean!). Both were excellent and I hope to be posting some personal projects later (or sooner) inspired by those events.
